This trainer is a mental and visual training system. The purpose of the product is to provide a mental target by placing a “cover” or “shelf” on the rim of the basket. All a person has to do is practice putting the ball on the shelf, with proper arch, and have the ball bounce as straight up as possible. When the cover is removed, the same process of shooting with the mental image that the “shelf” is still there is applied and the ball now goes in the “basket” instead of bouncing on the shelf. The mind can “see” the shelf there every time a shot is attempted. A coach or player can now see if they are not using enough arch.
