THE FOLLOW THROUGH - The key to successful shooting is getting your body, elbow, arm, wrist, hand, fingers, and ball in the proper position, with all areas pointing toward the basket. The SHOOTING-T allows you to develop the habit of always holding your follow-through until the ball goes through the basket. Concentration on following through will also help you shoot with the elbow in, instead of "flying" out to the side. IMPROVES DIRECTION - The follow through check-point (plastic T) will always have your wrists and fingers going toward your target. When you release the ball off your fingertips, your first two fingers should rest directly on the SHOOTING-T. When they do, your direction will be perfect. This will also create backspin on the ball, thus giving you a softer shot. DEVELOPS ARCH - A high, yet comfortable arch will greatly improve the chance of making a shot...not to mention the opportunity for a better bounce.
